Over the past few months, the political opposition movement “Erkin O’zbekiston” has been informing its readers on social media about large-scale embezzlement of state funds allocated for the defence of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the “Erkin O’zbekiston” movement constantly covered, in its social network channels, the story about the fake attempted assassination of Uzbek citizen Komil Allamjonov.

In order to cover up its crimes and weaken its opponents, the Mirziyoyev regime has staged a massive attack on the “Erkin O’zbekiston” movement’s social networks, with the intention of eventually blocking them. In particular, videos of appeals by Roksana Rakhmanova, wife of Valijon Rakhmanov, a lieutenant colonel in the Military Counterintelligence Department of the Uzbek State Security Service, who was illegally convicted by Uzbek authorities for 16 years, were deleted.

On March 25, we reported that Mirziyoyev’s troll factory achieved a one-day blocking of “Erkin O’zbekiston”‘s YouTube channel. Today, 27 March 2025 at 09:23 CET, we received another notice from YouTube: this time, we have been informed that due to copyright infringement, the YouTube channel of Erkin O’zbekiston has been removed.

We found out that requests to remove YouTube clips of the “Erkin O’zbekiston” YouTube channel are sent by the administrators of the xorazm.net website, who claim authorship of our content.

At the same time, requests for removal of publications on “Erkin O’zbekiston” Facebook and Instagram pages are sent by ‘Islam Karimov Scientific-Educational Complex’ (fv7322745@gmail.com), ‘Qashqadaryo – www.qashqadaryogz.uz (malika19xon@gmail.com), ru.m.wikipedia.org (uzbgazeta@gmail.com), ‘Higher Military Aviation School of the Republic of Uzbekistan’ (lutfullakamol@gmail.com), ‘daryo.rasmiy (daryo.uz)’ (poligonanalitik@gmail.com), ‘Daryo.uz’ (nusarov17@gmail.com), ‘Azertac’ (rakhimovaroksana@gmail.com), as well as a number of individuals.

Currently, it is almost impossible to publish posts on “Erkin O’zbekiston”‘s Facebook and Instagram pages, as they are instantly deleted.

Due to this situation, we would like to inform our subscribers that we will temporarily be available only on the Telegram channels @erkinozbekiston and @erkinozbekiston_uz.

We will soon make an official statement regarding these attacks, which will be published on our website and sent to international organisations and the Foreign Ministries of OSCE member states.
