The social media platforms of the political opposition movement “Erkin O’zbekiston” have once again come under attack from Uzbekistan’s trolls factory. Between March 22-24, 2025, we received three notifications regarding the removal of four videos from the “Erkin O’zbekiston” YouTube channel due to alleged copyright violations.
According to YouTube’s notifications, the takedown requests were submitted by users “Gökhan Kırdar” and “Max Brhon”, with the following contact details: copyrightmir@gmail.com, copyright@inmail.my, szymon@inmail.my.
As of now, the “Erkin O’zbekiston” YouTube channel has received two copyright strikes.
However, we have submitted a detailed appeal to challenge YouTube’s decision.
We believe that this coordinated online attack by pro-government internet trolls is directly linked to our recent publications exposing the crimes of Mirziyoyev’s regime.
