The Mirziyoyev regime is currently executing yet another constitutional coup in Uzbekistan, completely dismantling any remaining possibility of holding fair elections in the country.
On August 14, 2026, the Constitutional Law “On the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” entered into force. This document, rammed through in just 10 days, has legally institutionalized a system of dual power in Uzbekistan. It has transformed a non-elected body—the Presidential Administration—into a super-structure that stands ABOVE the government, ABOVE the parliament, and ABOVE the courts.
Why was this done in such a desperate rush?
First: The regime has officially launched a dynastic power transition and the total destruction of the institution of elections as such.
Second: To cover up the heinous crimes committed by members of the presidential family. We state explicitly: Saida Mirziyoyeva and her boyfriend, Komil Allamjonov, are the organizers of a political murder.
In January of this year, our movement published an independent investigation exposing a fraudulent scheme behind the alleged “assassination attempt” on Komil Allamjonov. We proved that this “assassination attempt” was nothing more than a cheap staged production designed to purge political opponents within the regime.
Just one month after our investigation was published, on the night of February 26, 2026, Ismoil Jakhongirov was murdered in a disciplinary isolation cell of Colony No. 13. He had been sentenced to 23 years in prison based on the fabricated Allamjonov case.
We remind the representatives of the Western world: when you shake hands with Saida Mirziyoyeva and Komil Allamjonov, you become complicit in their crimes.
We call upon the OSCE/ODIHR and the participating States:
1. Stop turning a blind eye to the sham reform process in Uzbekistan.
2. To deliver a harsh legal assessment of the law of August 14, 2026, as a document that directly violates Uzbekistan’s Copenhagen commitments to the OSCE.
3. To initiate an international investigation into the extrajudicial execution of Ismoil Jakhongirov in an Uzbek prison by members of the Mirziyoyev regime family.
