Whilst Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s cowardly dictatorial regime attempts to cling to power through fear and censorship, the Erkin O’zbekiston political movement continues its diplomatic offensive on the international stage.

11 May, Vienna: the Erkin O’zbekiston movement addressed the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting, documenting the regime’s crimes before the European community.

12 May, Copenhagen: Erkin O’zbekiston is taking part in the closed-door Copenhagen Democracy Summit. This is an exclusive forum for world leaders, politicians and media giants, united by a single goal: to curb the expansion of authoritarian regimes and restore democracy to the forefront of the global agenda.

Our presence at the summit in Denmark sends a clear message to the Mirziyoyev regime. The event is closed, and attendance is only possible by special invitation from the organisers. The fact that Erkin O’zbekiston is on this list confirms that the world recognises us as the legitimate voice of the Uzbek people, whilst the current regime is rapidly losing its credibility.

The Mirziyoyev regime may cowardly block our social media and stifle freedom of speech within the country, but it is powerless against our will. No filters or repression will stop the dismantling of tyranny. We are building a Free Uzbekistan, and our movement is finding support at the highest international level.

The truth is stronger than censorship!
